In the late 1980's many companies, after investing thousands of dollars in high-end servers and mainframes, found that they were increasingly relying on computers for even the most basic business functions. In addition, rapid increases in technology were quickly making many of these computers obsolete within years, if not months. With these realizations came the overwhelming need for assistance with onsite maintenance, phone support and training as well as the ongoing requirements for larger hard disks and more memory in order to keep up with growing user demands.

In 1994, RAMEtronics Technology was created in order to serve a growing number of business computer users and their needs for these types of services.

As RAMEtronics Technology expanded and the dot.com era began, RAMEtronics began to focus on network and server technology, primarily RISC based computers running UNIX operating systems. In 1997 RAMEtronics Technology became organized as a United States corporation and began to offer an expanded portfolio of services that included logistics support, custom software development and remote desktop support and an advance exchange spares program in addition to maintenance and installation services.

By 1999, RAMEtronics Technology Inc. formed business partnerships with customers in the United States as well as Canada, England, Germany, France, India, Korea, Hong Kong and Brazil. These relationships include businesses in the Airline, Financial, Broadcast, Shipping and Automotive Industries as well Educational Institutions and Third Party Maintenance Organizations.

As wireless and security technologies began to evolve and solidify, many customers began to request assistance with implementation and design of these and other advanced technologies. In 2001, RAMEtronics Technology Inc. began to offer customers a Total Solution; from system and network design, to hardware requirements and procurement, to installation and finally maintenance and support.
